Ok so the first cloth diapering system I have pictures of is Ellie in her Flip diaper she is about 9 lbs in this picture and 22-22.5 inches long at 3.5 months. Now I use them just with prefolds. I fold my prefolds into thirds and just lay them in the cover. I do not pin or use a snappi. I do not have the stay dry inserts. I do have the disposable inserts but have yet to use them. I don't know why I haven't used they I guess I just haven't had the desire to try them out. I got the inserts free because I ordered over $50 of stuff from Cotton Babies.
So here is what I think of the Flip covers.
What I love:
I love the stretchy tabs. The snaps are strong. The covers hold everything in, I have not had a leak yet.
What I wish was different:
I wish the legs had a bit more elastic gathering.
Now the only real complain I have is that it never fails that a messy diaper gets on the cover as well. Maybe that is the case with all diaper covers but it is a bit of a pain because you can't just wipe it out and reuse because the elastic legs are covered in cloth so you can't just wipe it off of there you have to wash the cover. Overall it is a great cover and recommend it as a one size cover to anyone looking for covers to last over a wide size range.

4 Month Update
(March 4, 2010)
Has it really been 4 months since these two were born? Somedays I have no idea where the time has gone. They have grown and changed so much! At birth Eli was 5 lbs 1.7 ounces and 17.5 inches long. He is currently 11 lbs 13 ounces and 23.5 inches long. So in 4 months he has grown 6 inches and gained 6 lbs 11 ounces! Ellie was 4 lbs 3.2 ounces and 16.5 inches at birth and is now 9 lbs 9 ounces and 22.5 inches long. So she has grown 6 inches also and gained 5 lbs 6 ounces! As you can see Eli likes to eat a bit more than Ellie, but they are both perfect and you can see they are pretty happy babies. Both of the babies coo and babble back at you when you engage them in conversation and they are reaching for and grabbing toys on their bouncy seats. Their doctor was surprised they had not been sick at all. Because being preemies they are at a much higher risk for infections especially RSV, which in the past 2 weeks he said he had sent 2 or 3 kids to Fargo for ICU care because of RSV. So even though it is warming up we still need to remember to wash our hands a lot! Overall the babies are both doing great and even sleeping through the night 95% of the time. I am once again enjoying my nights! I am also very happy to say that I have exclusively breastfed both babies and continue to nurse them, they are not ready for solids yet.
